Bath vegan festival and mini vegan haul

Last week I went to Bath vegan festival with a friend and I had the best time ever! Although I’m not vegan myself I’m vegetarian and i’m also lactose intolerant, meaning I eat very little dairy, so when I heard there was going to be  vegan festival in Bath I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my Saturday, and I hastily invited my friend to join me.

There were so many amazing stalls, selling everything from clothes, plastic free products, essential oils and SO MUCH FOOD!

After we strolled from stall to stall we decided it was time to get some lunch and it took us forever to choose! It was such a treat being able to eat everything on offer, instead of having to find the one veggie-dairy free / vegan option available.

I chose some yummy vegan sausages, mash and peas from Vausages, which also sell amazing, gourmet vegan hotdogs!

And my friend chose a vegan focaccia!

I also bought a vegan tiramisu, which I devoured later on in the day at home, and it was delicious <3

I also bought these yummy Booja Booja chocolates in the flavours ‘hazelnut crunch’ and ‘honeycomb caramel’. As soon as I saw the stall I knew I would be making a purchase! I already loved their ice creams (dairy free of course) so I just had to branch out and try their chocolates. These were yummy, and i’m not ashamed to admit they only lasted a day or two!

I bought this because I tried it at the vegan festival and it was delicious, but i have to admit as soon as i spread it on toast like you would a normal pate i wasn’t a fan. I’m pretty sure this was because I have never had pate before and i normally have my toast with sweet spreads, so instead i’m gonna give this another chance and try dipping carrot and cucumber sticks and pretend its like a humus.

I just had to buy these iridescent straws from a company called dearest fannie! They’re so pretty and will help me reduce the amount of plastic I use. They come with a handy pouch that i keep them in in my handbag, so whenever I get a drink on the go I already have my own straw!

I also bought these cute badges which i’m going to clip to my bag, and these were from a company called viva la vegan .

I hope you all enjoyed this post!

I went to a vegan festival in Brighton a while ago and LOVED IT. I ate sooo much food. I also got a pin that says “my soya milk frees all the cows from the yard” (in my head sung to the tune of “Milkshake” obvs) x
