  •  List the rules as well as display the Sunshine Award Logo on your post.

Answering Rach’s questions:

1- What are you currently reading?

‘How to change your mind’ by Michael Pollan. So far i’m loving it, its about how psychodelics have been used to treat various mental and physical health problems, by inducing mystical, life altering experiences that allow the individual to change their perspective on life. Its not my typical read, but its a fabulous change from the fiction i usually read.

2- What do you enjoy most about writing or blogging?

I love the fact that its almost like a diary of sorts. In it i am able to document my opinions on different books, cool vegan recipes, travelling etc. I also love how its allowed me to connect with people I wouldn’t ordinarily be able to.

3- Where is your happy place and why?

Ooh thats a hard question to answer. I have to say its either on the yoga mat or in bed with a good book.

4- Favourite book or film trope?

A good twist -who doesn’t love a game changer.

5- Your going away; which book, song and film would you take with you?

Under rose tainted skies (because i really want to re-read it).
I don’t think i could pick one song but I’m loving Tom Grennan’s new album; lightening matches.
The greatest showman – because it fits all moods and lifts the soul!

6- What is your least favourite genre?

I’d have to say sci-fi. I recently read Michael faber’s ‘the book of strange new things’ and i really didn’t enjoy it, so its put me off reading this genre again.

7- Which country would you most like to visit?

My list is endless. I’m currently planning trips to krakow, barcelona and Vienna, but i also really wanna visit Budapest and Prague sometime soon.

8- Which book would you love to see adapted?
More than this but Patrick Ness – feel like it would have a cool ‘stranger things’ vibe.

9- Your hosting a dinner party; which 5 famous people (alive or dead) would you invite?

Assuming this can involve people who are dead: Freud (because who wouldn’t invite him?!), Sam smith and Adele (they would make the best party ever), Ali Wong and Greg Davies (my fave comedians).

10- Whose auto/biography would you most like to read?

Its a memoir but I’m gonna count it: Girl in the Woods by Aspen Mathis. I recently listened to her on the ‘wild ideas’ podcast and she was so inspiring. After loving ‘Wild’ by Cheryl Strayed I’m obsessed with books on hiking/ personal development.

11- What are you most looking forward to in the future?

Finishing my dissertation and being freeeeee 🙂

I nominate:

Tasha – Ridiculously Ordinary

Josh – Nutrition on the run

Amy – Amy’s Bookshelf

Beatrice – The bliss bean

Maya – Powered crowd

Monica – Torn pages and roses

Anna – Bee beauty

Sharon – My bucket full of love

Cat – Cat Leech

Erica – Living a hundred lives

Adri – Books and roads

Questions from me to you:

1- If you didn’t need to sleep what would you do with the extra time?

2- If you had to reread one book forever what book would it be?

3- What do you do to unwind at the end of a long day?

4- When was the last time you changed your opinion / belief about something?

5- Do you have any irrational fears?

6- What 3 things make you happiest?

7- What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

8- Name one thing that has changed your life for the better.

9- If you could return to one era, what era would it be?

10- If you could fly, where in the world would you visit first?

11- What superpower would you chose if you could?

Have fun answering!

Thank you for tagging me! All those answers I really relate to (I still cannot enjoy sci-fi for the life of me lol) and yes to the Freud one! I want him to do all kinds of psychological intuition on me and try to interpret my dreams and sht even though I know his doesn’t have scientific backing 😂

Your welcome!! It would just be so interesting!! And I’d love to ask him all about his own life 😆

He has all these super weird notions about life and about the human psyche, maybe it was connected to when he was a kid? Maybe. Haha, glad to know someone finds Freud an interesting person though!
